Ski boots come in all different shapes and sizes.
We pride ourselves on our boot fitting expertise. All our boots fitted instore come with a comfort guarantee where all fitting and refitting is free of charge (excluding footbeds).
A typical boot fitting consists of the following:
- Careful measurement of each foot, weighted and unweighted using the Brannock Device.
- Selection of shell is then made from the information given to us by the Brannock, your skiing experience, weight, ankle shape and calf shape.
- Sometimes a footbed is then introduced.
- Several suitable boots will be tried on and the best fitting boot may then be moulded to the skier, at the same time the shell may be stretched to offer a more customised fit.
- Finally, the boots need to be broken in at home before used for skiing.
The boots can be returned for free re-fitting by simply booking a refit appointment.
