Right to Cancel

Customers in the EU who place an online order with us have the right to cancel their order within 14 days without giving a reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which the ordered items are delivered.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement, e.g. e-mail or a letter sent by post. You may download and use this cancellation form, but it is not obligatory to use it.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

Returned goods must be unused, in their original condition, with all tags or labels attached and include all original inner and outer packaging. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than -

(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You must retain proof of posting, which can be obtained from the Post Office or your courier. You are responsible for the returned goods until they are delivered to us. We recommend you insure the returned goods for the appropriate amount in case of loss or damage while in transit.

Faulty Items

If goods are suspected to be faulty, please contact us, preferably by e-mail, with details of the suspected fault. If we agree that the item is faulty we will arrange for our courier to collect the faulty goods from you.

Retail Purchases

Goods purchased from our retail premises must be returned in person and during opening hours.

Delivery

Methods and Charges

UK orders are sent via the Post Office or UPS, depending on their size. All orders will require a signature on delivery.

UK delivery is FREE for orders £150 or over; for orders under £150 the delivery charge is just £5.00.

For orders from outside the UK, the delivery cost is dependent on the destination country and the type of items you have ordered; to check the delivery charge add goods to your basket and select your country from the 'Delivery to' option.

Timescale

UK orders should arrive within three working days, but please allow seven working days before contacting us. Non-UK orders should arrive within 14 working days.

Payment

We accept the following payment cards: Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron and MasterCard. You will be asked for your name, address and card details when you place your order. Delivery will only be made to the address of the card holder. All transactions are in UK Pound Sterling (GBP). All prices include VAT, if applicable.

The card payment is managed by SagePay, our secure payment processor, using 128-bit SSL security. The Ski Exchange Ltd does not receive or hold your card details at any time.
